Department of Mathematics

The Department takes pride in teaching cross section of students enrolled in various courses. Besides the main B.Sc.(Hons) course , Mathematics is taught as a main paper to the students of the prestigious courses of B.Sc.(Hons) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics. Along with teaching curriculum, emphasis is also given to the other aspects such as mathematics as means of communication in the scientific, technical and commercial world. It helps the students to enhance their numerical ability and develop the art of analytical as well as logical thinking.
