Department of Sanskrit
Sanskrit Literature contains ideas which not only appeal to modern thinking but also has many features such as its remarkable elasticity, its unusal expressive power, its humour and subtle wit which have always appeared and encouraged students to develop their intellectual and analytical abilities. The Sanskrit(Hons) Course is well suited for this. The B.A. Course and Concurrent Course papers are designed for students studying other disciplines to acquire knowledge of social values and practices.
