Department of Physics

Study of Physics is an integral part of any science or engineering course. Physics department offers B.Sc(Hons) in Physics and B.Sc. Programme in Physical and Applied Sciences. We have well equipped laboratories to offer these courses. For higher studies, B.Sc (Hons) and B.Sc. Programme in Physical and Applied Sciences is a launching pad for courses like MCA , Robotic Sciences, Electrical and Electronic Science and of course for MBA, Civil Services and Forensic Sciences. After doing B. Sc. (Hons) in Physics, one can pursue higher studies in pure and applied frontiers of Physics.

Some members of the faculty are actively engaged in research in the areas of Astroparticle Physics, Condensed matter, Solar energy and Growth and characterization of Crystalline Materials.
